Ian Diaper will cover the recent evolution of Portsmouth Port, including cruise berth & terminal improvements, cargo terminal improvements and port greening measures as part of future port master planning.
Matt Spiller will describe the design and construction of the new cruise building at PIP by Knights Brown, which has been built as a large extension to the existing ferry terminal building.
Chris Poyner will discuss ABB’s support to PIP to introduce shore power to the PIP ferry and cruise berths by late 2025.
Ben McInnes will describe how PIP undertake maintenance dredging and provide safe navigation while planning the improvement of the marine access for larger vessels, using simulation and training.
